Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

dimension of cuboidal tin = 30cm×40cm×50cm

let length = 40cm

breath = 30cm

height = 50cm

Total surface area = 2(lb+bh+lh)

                          = 2(40×30 + 30×50 + 40×50)

                          = 2(1200 + 1500 + 2000)

                          = 2(4700)

                          = 9400 cm²

TSA of one tin box = 9400 cm²

TSA of 20 tin boxes = 9400×20 = 18800 cm² = 1.88m²

Cost of tin = Rs. 20/m²

Total cost = 1.88×20 =Rs. 37.60

Dimension of the cuboidal container =50cm×40cm×30cm

Tin sheet used to manufacture the cuboid=Total surface area of the cuboid

∴ Total surface area of the cuboid=2(lb+bh+lh)

=2(50×40+40×30+30×50)=2(2000+1200+1500)=2×4700=9400m

2

∴Tin sheet used to manufacture the cuboidal container is 9400m

2

It is required to make 10 such containers.

∴ Tin sheet required to make 10 such containers=9400×10=94,000cm

3

Price of tin sheet per sq.m=Rs.20

Price of tin sheet to make 94,000cm

3

is =94,000×20=Rs.18,80,000‬‬
