Given:
Penalty for first day= 200
Penalty for second day = 250
Penalty for third day = 300
Every day penalty increase = 50
It forms an arithmetic series(A.P).
The Required sequence is 200, 250, 300, 350…..
Now
first term (a )= 200
common difference( d )= 50
number of terms(n) = 30 (penalty for 30 days)
Sn = (n/2) {2a + (n-1)d}
= (30/2){2×200 + (30-1)×50}
= 15×(400 + 29×50)
= 15×(400 + 1450)
= 15×1850
Sn = 27750
Hence, total penalty for 30 days = ₹ 27750
Value- One should be punctual and hardworking to his work and show dedication for his work.
