Step-by-step explanation:

Let the work be = 1

thus,

1/7 work takes 96/6 days by taking 100 labourers

1/7 Work takes 16 days by taking 100 labourers

100 labourers will take 7 X 16 days to complete the work.

100 X 7 X 16 labourer will take 1 day. to complete the work.

11200/96 labourers will take 96 days to complete the work.

116 labourers will take 96 days to complete the work

therefore,

116-100=16 additional labourers will be required to complete the work.
