Answer:

20 men complete a job in 10 days. So, 20 men complete 1/10 of the job in 1 day. So 1 man completes (1/10)/20 = 0.005 of the job in 1 day.

if 20 men work at the job for 3 days, they complete 3/10 of the job, leaving 7/10 undone. If 5 men leave, 15 men continue and complete 15*0.005 = 0.075 of the job each day. To complete the remaining 0.7 of the job, it will take 0.7/0.075 = 9 and 1/3 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Ignoring your statement that 10 men already COMPLETED it as a typo. Many factors could make this unsolvable. For example, are all workers equally skilled? Do any tasks require more than fifteen workers to complete? If everything is equal:

20 men in 10 days is 200 man-days

After 3 days, 3 x 20 = 60 m-days, leaving 140 to finish

15 men can complete in 140/15 = 9 1/3 days
