a contractor employed 245 men who finish the 7/11th of total work in 54 days.Due to rain work stopped for 11 days and 40% work also destroyed.after rain 41 men falls sick and were not able to do the work.in how many days the work will be completed?​

Total work = 200 men* 100 days * 6/5 = 24,000 man days

Work finished in 100 days by 200 workers = 24,000*5/6 = 20,000

Now the question is little confusing here. 2/5 of the already completed work is destroyed or 2/5 of complete work is destroyed? I will solve it separately for both the possibilities.

Case 1: 2/5 of already completed work is destroyed

Work destroyed by rain = 20,000 * 2 /5 = 8,000

Work left = 24,000 - 20,000 + 8,000 = 12,000

150 workers can complete this in 12,000/150 = 80 days

Case 2: 2/5 of complete work is destroyed

Work destroyed by rain = 24,000 * 2 /5 = 9,600

Work left = 24,000 - 20,000 + 9,600 = 13,600

150 workers can complete this in 13,600/150 = 90.66667 days
