A contractor employee 100 labours to finish a construction

work in 40 days. After 35 days he employed 180 extra men

and therefore the work was finished on correct time. If he

did not do it then by how many days the work would be

delayed?

The completed part of work = 25%

The completed work units = 30*20 =600

So 25% of work = 600 units

No of men required to complete 1800 units of work in 40 days = 1800÷40

=45
