Let us assume x number of men are required to complete the remaining 1/3 part of the work in 4 days.

Now,

12×16 / 2/3 = (x × 4) / 1/3

=> (12 x 16 x 3) / 2 = x x 4

=> (12 x 16 x 3) / (2 x 4) = x

=> x = 72

No. of more men required = 72 - 12 = 60
