A contractor wants to set up a slide for the children to play in the park. He wants to set
it up at the height of 2 m and by making an angle of 30° with the ground. What should be
the length of the slide?​

Let the Height of the slide be AB = 2 m.

Let ∠ C = 30°.

Let the length of the slide be the hypotenuse AC.

We know that Sin Ф = Opposite / Hypotenuse.

=> Sin 30° = 2 / Hypotenuse

=> 1 / 2 = 2 / Hypotenuse

=> Hypotenuse * 1 = 2 * 2

=> Hypotenuse = 4 m

Hence the length of the slide is 4 m.
