Answer:

Converging Lens or convex lens is a type of lens that is curve on both sides allowing all the light that passes through the lens be focus on a point - converges of the focal point. This is also signifies by the positive value of the focal length

Answer:

15cm

Explanation:

Magnification = +2.5

Lens = 9cm

Focal length = ?

→ m/u = +2.5/-9. [ Print is the object]

→m = v/u

→2.5 = v/-9

→ v = -22.5 cm

→1/v - 1/u = 1/f

→1/-22.5 - 1/-9 = 1/f

→ 1/f = 1/9 - 1/22.5 = 22.5 - 9 / 9× 22.5

→ 1/f = 13.5/9× 22.5 [divide them]

→ 1/f = 1/15

→ f = 15 cm
