A dialogue between two friends on load shedding

Sujon: Hello Salim! How are you?

Salim: I am not fine. What about you?

Sujon: I am also not fine. In fact, we are facing the same problem—that is load shedding. There was no electricity in our locality last night.

Salim: Same was the case in our locality. It has become a veritable nuisance nowadays.

Sujon: Yes, we have no option but to live with pitch-black darkness and sweltering heat.

Salim: Exactly! But can you imagine what it means to a student whose exam is knocking at the door?

Sujon: Oh, it is disgusting! Last night I could not read at all. You know tomorrow is my English exam.

Salim: It is very unfortunate! Load shedding is causing much harm to the examinees and the patients who are under the knife of a surgeon.

Sujon: Oh, it is terrible! The sufferings caused to the examinees and patients cannot be described in words at this moment.

Salim: Yes, indeed! Besides, the foods we preserve in refrigerators turn rotten. They become unfit for consumption. Housewives are suffering much.

Sujon: But the more deplorable damage occurs in refrigerators in laboratories in which invaluable research materials are kept under controlled temperature.

Salim: We should also not forget the miserable phenomenon that occurs on the cold storage. It causes a heavy economic loss.

Sujon: Exactly! In fact, load shedding has a lot of bad effects. In big towns and cities, it comes as a great curse undoubtedly.

Salim: And what happens in the industrial areas? The running productive machines come to a standstill in mills and factories. A tremendous loss of production!

Sujon: Exactly! The government should take necessary measures on emergency basis to ensure adequate production of electricity to remove the curse of load shedding.

Salim: Certainly! The earlier, the better.

Sujon: Right! The sufferings of people beggar description. Thank you very much.

Salim: You are most welcome. See you again.
