a. Deposition is the process of converting vapour to solid without going to the liquid phase.

b.It is the amount of heat energy required to change 1 kg of solid into liquid at its melting point.

(a)- the term used to denote the the conversion of vapour to solid is called deposition.

(b)- Latent heat of fusion is the heat required to melt the solid state to liquid state without increase in temperature. It is the amount of heat required per unit mass of a substance at melting point and under 1 Atmosphere pressure to convert it from the solid to the liquid state.
