The following conversions are as below:

Kelvin to celsius:

  • °C = K − 273.15
  • (i) 450K
  • °C = 450 - 273.15 = 176.85°C
  • (ii) 300k
  • °C = 300 - 273.15 = 26.85°C

Celsius to Kelvin:

  • Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15.
  • (i) 27° C
  • K = 27 + 273.15 = 300.15K
  • (ii) 86°C
  • K = 86 + 273.15 = 359.15K

Interconversion of Temperature Scales:

  • Celsius is the most widely used temperature scale in the world.
  • It is abbreviated C and is nearly identical to the old centigrade scale, with 100 degrees between the melting and boiling points of water, which are assumed to occur at 0 and 100 degrees, respectively.
