A convex lens forms a real and inverted image of needle at a distance of 50cm from it.Where is the needle placed so that size of the image is equal to size of object also find power of lens.​

Power:

1/50

=1/0.5

=2D

As the size of the image is equal to size of object and inverted.Hence we can say that the object is kept at the centre of curvature. Therefore the radius of curvature is 50 cm

focal length = 25 Cm

Power =100÷f in cm

100÷25

=4D
