AnswEr:

Given:

• F = 15

• v = - 10

To Find:

u = ?

Explanation:

= 1/f = 1/v - 1/u

= 1/u = 1/v - 1/f

Here,

f = 15 & v = -10

Now, Putting Values

= 1/u = - 1/-10 - 1/15

= 1/u = (-3 -2)/30

= 1/u = -5/30

= u = -6

Magnification:

= v/u = -10/-6

= 5/3

</p><p>\tt{\red{Given \: - }}

F = 15 cm

V = 10 cm

 \dfrac{1}{u}  +  \dfrac{1}{v }  =  \dfrac{1}{f}  \\  \\  \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{1}{10}  -  \frac{1}{15}  \\  \\ v =  - 6\: cm.

.

Magnification = -5/3.
