Dear mate..


Because real images are images that can be caught on screen . Convex Lens always produce images that can be caught in a screen except one case , when the object is kept at focus F1 and optical centre O .

Virtual images are images that cannot be caught on a screen . These images are produced by concave lens in all cases. ie ,they are found behind the lens.
