f=10cm
u=12cm
1/v=1/f-1/u
1/v=1/10-1/12
1/v=1/60
v=60cm

Explanation:

Answer:

object distance  (u) = -12

v=? (we have to find this)

focul length (f) = +10

using lens formula

1/f=1/v-1/u

1/10=1/v+1/(-12)

1/10 = 1/v+1/12

1/10-1/12 =1/v

6-5/60=1/v

1/60=1/v

v = 60
