a convex lens of focal length 10cm is placed ata a distance of 12cm from a wall. how far from the lens should an object be placed so as to form a real image on the wall.​

We know,

1/f = 1/u + 1/v

So 1/10 = 1/12 - 1/u

u = -60 cm

∴The object must be placed at a distance 60cm in front of the lens.
