A convex lens of focal length 20 cm and a concave mirror with radius of curvature of 16 cm are
placed as shown in figure, at a distance of 25 cm from each other. A luminous object is placed at a
distance of 25 cm from the lens. Where will the image be found and what would be its magnification?

  • where is the pic man?
  • According to the Q.,..... respect to convex mirror....

f=20 ;r'=16; u(obj dist.)=25

so the Image is formed at

 \frac{1}{v }  +  \frac{1}{u}  =  \frac{1}{f}

(where v denotes image dist.) so v=100

  1. magnification would be...
  2.  \frac{v}{u}  = m
  3. hence,m= +4

hope it will help you ....TQ for supporting me...❤️
