Focal length of Convex lens = 20 cm

Focal length of Concave lens = -25 cm

When the 2 lenses are placed in contact,

We need to add the focal lengths.

power \: of \: lens =  \frac{100}{f _{1}(in \: cm) }  +  \frac{100}{f _{2}(in cm) }

 \implies \: power =  \frac{100}{20}  +  \frac{100}{ - 25}

 \implies \: power =  5  -  4

 \implies \: power =  1D

 \therefore \large{ \boxed{Power= 1 \: D}}

Since power is positive, the system will be converging or convex lens
