A convex lens of focal length 30 cm and concave lens of focal length is 0.6 CM are placed in contact What is power of combination

KingOMac1: hlllooo??
Rupaliparul786: I don't know .. I get different different answers from different places.. I am confused
Rupaliparul786: Give me your points please
Rupaliparul786: Deepu have u done ?
KingOMac1: bro i think mine is correct but not sure
KingOMac1: so first find the real answer to the question
javedsaif0: The focal lenth of concave is always negative but the focal length of convex is always negative..
javedsaif0: So use p=p1+p2
javedsaif0: Or p=1/f1 +1/f2 but during addition of these focal lengths consider one convex and other concave and negative sign for concave.. this may help u definitely..
javedsaif0: If u r failed to get ur answer just write me a mail on [email protected]
