Hi.....

m = v/u

= - 2.5 = v/u

=> v = -2.5u

1/v + 1/u = 1/f

1/2.5u + 1/u = 1/f

= (1+ 2.5)/u = 1/ f

Now, we know that u = 25 cm

= (1 + 2.5)/ 25 = 1/f

Therefore, by solving the equation , we get

f = 3.5 / 25 cm

=> 0.14 cm........ANS
