Answer Option a

Given:

u=(-0.5)

m=1/4

To find:

Focal length

Solution:

m =  \frac{ - v}{u}

 \frac{1}{4}  =  - \frac{ - v}{ - 0.5}

v=1/8m

 \frac{1}{f} =  \frac{1}{v}  +  \frac{1}{u}

 \frac{1}{f}  = 8 </em><em>-</em><em> 2

f = </em><em>1</em><em>/</em><em>6</em><em>

Or 160 cm or 0.16m

Hope it helps!!
