f = 1m

u = -5m

v = ?

$\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u}$

$\frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{f} - \frac{1}{u}$

1/v = 1/1 - 1/-5

1/v = 1/1 + 1/5

1/v = 5+1/5

1/v = 6/5

v = 5/6

v = 0.83m

Magnification = -v/u

= -0.83/-5

= 0.83/5

= 0.166 times

Image will be virtual.

Size of image = 0.166 × 0.83

= 13.778cm Answer
