  • Radius of curvature = 3 cm
  • Convex mirror
  • Object (Bus)
  • Object Distance = 5 cm

To Find –

  • Position of the Image
  • Nature of the Image
  • Size of the Image

Solution –

Mirror Formula : 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

➸ 1/v + 1/-5 = 1/1.5

➸ 1/v = 1/1.5 + 1/5

➸ 1/v = (5 + 1.5)/7.5

➸ 1/v = 6.5/7.5

➸ v = 1.15 cm

The position of the Image will be between Pole and the Focus of the mirror, behind the mirror.

The nature of the Image will be virtual and erect.

The size of the Image will be diminished.
