focal length = r/2 = 3/2 m ( positively taken as convex)

u = - 5 m ( front of mirror)

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/(3/2) = 1/v - 1/5

2/3 +1/5 = 1/v

1/v = 10 + 3 / 15

v = 15/13 = 1.15 m ( behind the mirror)

therefore image distance is 1.15 m behind the mirror

magnification = -v/u = -1.15/-5 = 1.15/5 = +0.23

image  nature = diminished and virtual and erect.

position = behind the mirror between p and f

image distance = 1.15 m behind the mirror
