An ideal has to be accepted as true in order to understand the general things whether or not idea existed or not. Because ideal has to be regarded as "like a standard " so if you don't have any standard then you would not be able to study the variable things. Moreover, the ideal is always true not only in words but also prove by different theoretical things even some times by experiments.
