A copper coin is kept in a solution of silver nitrate for sometime what will happen to the coin and the colour of the solution?

It is the displacement process. According to activity series the Copper is more
active than Silver. So, Silver is displaced by Copper from Silver Nitrate. At the end the products are Copper Nitrate and Silver. Copper Nitrate is in aqueous
form and Silver is in solid form. Chemical Equation: AgNo3(aq) + Cu(s) -----> CuNo3(aq) + Ag(s) .
