a copper plate was dipped into solution of AgNo3.after sometime a black layer was deposited on the copper plate.state the reason for it .write the chemical eqation for thereaction involved

AgNo3 +Cu gives Ag + CuNO3...
This is a displacement reaction...
Copper which is more reactive than silver displaces silver to form copper nitrate...
