a) the Cu being more reactive than Ag displaces Ag in AgNO3 and forms Cu(NO3)2 which gives the blue colour to the solution
b) Cu + 2AgNO3 ---> Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag
b) Cu + 2AgNO3 ---> Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag
