Let the resistance, area and length of the copper wire be R, A and l respectively.
=>New l = 1/2 l
New A = 2A
We know that
R=rho x l/A
=>New R = rho x l'/A' = rho x 1/2l/2A = 1/4R.
=>New R= 5ohm.
Hope this will help you.
