A copper wire has resistance 2ohm it is stretched by 3 times what is the new resistance

the resistance become 6times ,
Because R =l/a
as length increase resistance increase , and on stretched wire its area decrease so resistance also increase .
So the final resistance is 2× 6
12 ohm
