so, resistance of each wire is r/4.
now, these 4 wire connected in parallel
so, equivalent resistance r' is
1/r' = 1/r/4 + 1/r/4 + 1/r/4 + 1/r/4
=> 1/r' = 4/r + 4/r + 4/r + 4/r
=> 1/r' = 16/r
=> r' = r/16
