A copper wire when bent in the form of a square encloces an area of 121 cm².If the same wire is bent into the form of a circle, find the area of the circle.​

Area of a square = $s^2$

Area of a circle = $\pi r^2$

$s=\sqrt{s^2}=\sqrt{121cm^2}=11cm$

Perimeter of the square = 4s

Circumference of the circle = 2$\pi$r

Perimeter of the square = Circumference of the circle

$2\pi r=4s$

2*3.14*r = 4*11

r = 22/$\pi$ cm

Area of the circle = 3.14*$(22/3.14)^{2}$

= 154$cm^2$
