A copper wire when bent in the form of a square encloses an area of 121cm2. If the same wire is re-bent into a circle, find the are of the circle.

area of square =(side)

side {}^{2}  = 121cm {}^{2}

side =

 \sqrt{121 }  = 11

so side of square is 11

and radius of circle =11/2=5.5

so area of circle =

\pi {r}^{2}

22/7×5.5×5.5=6655/70

^{}  = 97.671cm {}^{2} approx.
