A copper wire when bent in the form of a square encloses an area of 121 cm 2 . If the wire is bent into the former of a circle , find the area of the circle.

Area of sq =121
Side=11 cm
Area of circle= 22/7×11 ×11

if the side is x
area of square= 121 = x2
x= 11cm
length of total wire= perimeter of square= 4*11= 44cm
as the same wire is bent into circle so length of wire remain same
44cm= 2πr
44= 2*(22/7)r
r= 7cm
area of circle= (22/7)7^2= 154cm2
