a cork floats in water while the Iron nail sink give reason

he mate here is your answer when floating in Water is main reason surface big there for cork flot but irons has small area there for sink

hey mate! here ur go(^ω^)

density of cork is around 0.5 g /cc whereas of iron nail 7.86g/cc. since the density of water is 1g/cc which is more than density of cork but less than that of iron. the cork would float and the iron nail would sink.
the shape of iron was so compact that it couldn't get enough upthrust.
