A cork piece weighs 12.5 g. Initial volume
of water in a measuring cylinder was
24 cm. When a glass sinker was immersed
in water, the volume of water and sinker
was found to be 56 cm. When cork
piece was tied to the sinker and both of
them were immersed in water, the volume
reading in the measuring cylinder was
88 cm. Calculate the density of cork piece
in SI units.
