=12.08 cm (approx.)

Therefore the curved surface area of the corn cob =πrl

×1.4×12.08

=53.15

=53.2 sq. cm (approx.)

Number of grains of corn on 1 cm

of the surface of the corn cob =4.

Therefore, number of grains of the entire curved surface of the cob.

=53.2×4=212.8=213 (approx.)

So, there would be approximately 213 grain of corn on the cob.

Hope it will help you
