Hi friend,

-----------------------------------------------------

Given,
Length - 66/7
Breadth - 56/55

Area of the corridor = L x B
= 66/7m x 56/55m
= 9.6 m^2

As carpet must cover the whole corridor , area of corridor = area of carpet.

So 9.6 m^2 of carpet requires...

Area of the floor of the corridor = Area of required carpet

So area of the corridor = 66/7 x 56/55 = 48/5 m² = 9 3/5 m²

So required area of carpet = 9 3/5 m² or 9.6 m²

Hope This Helps You!
