thethe cottage industry produces potteries rupees X

the cost of production of each article rupees 5 more than twice the number of trees produce in a day=2x+5

from the first condition

x (2x+5)=168

2x^+5x=168

2x^+5x-168=0

2x^+21x_16x-168=0

x(2x+21)_8(2x+21)

(2x+21)(x_8)=0

2x+21=0 or x-8=0

X=. -21/2 or X=8

is not negative

Solution: total cost : 168

Let the no of pottery article products be x

:- cost of production of each article = (Rs 2x+5)

168= x(2x+5)=0

2x^2+5x-168=0
