A courtyard , 25 m long and 16 m broad , is to be laid with bricks of length 20 cm and breadth 10 cm . Find the number of bricks required.

=lb
=25×16
=400m^2

Area of brick
=lb
=20×10
=200m^2

No of bricks
=Area of courtyard /Area of each brick
=400/200
=2

2 tiles can be fitted.
