Correct Question :- A cow is tied to a pole in a rectangular park with a string 35m long . find the area over the cow can graze. ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • All angles of a rectangle = 90° .
  • Area of sector = (Angle at centre/360°) * π * (radius)² .

so,

→ Area grazed by cow = (90°/360°) * (22/7) * 35 * 35

→ Area grazed by cow = (1/4) * 22 * 5 * 35

→ Area grazed by cow = (55 * 35)/2

→ Area grazed by cow = (1925/2)

→ Area grazed by cow = 962.5 . (Ans.)
