A cow is tied with a rope in the centre of a circular lawn of diameter 28 cm. If the length of the rope is 7 cm, find the area of the lawn which cow can graze. Also find the remaining area of the lawn. ​

Radius of lawn = 14 cm

Area of lawn = (2×14×22) ÷ 7

= 2×2×22

= 88 square cm

Length of rope = 7cm

Area, Cow can graze = (2×7×22) ÷ 7

= 2×22 = 44 square cm

Area that Cow can't graze = 88 - 44

= 44 square cm
