 A crane pulls up a car of mass 1000kg to a vertical height of 6m. Calculate the work done by the crane. ( Take g = 9.8 m/s²)

and displacement is

denoted by s)

= 1000*(-9.8)*6

=58800 joules

here gravity is negative because the object is lifted upwards and away from gravity of earth
