Solution:-

★ In this question we have given that a crew is made up of 8 men and the rest are women. 66 2/3% of the crew are men. We have to find out the people are in the crew. Let's do it.

According to the question,

⇢ (66 2/3)/100 (x) = 8

⇢ (66 2/3)x = 800

⇢ x = 800/(66 2/3)

⇢ x = 800/(200/3)

⇢ x = 800(3/200)

⇢ x = 4(3)

x = 12

Hence,

  • There are 12 peoples are in the crew.

A N S W E R :

  • There are 12 peoples are in the crew.

Given :

  • A crew is made up of 8 men; the rest are women 66 2/3% of the crew are men

To find :

  • Find the people are in the crew ?

Solution :

  • Let there be " x " no. of people in the crew

So,

  • The no. of men are (200/3)% of x, which is :

=> [(200/3) ÷ 100] × x = 200x/300

According to the question,

  • It is mentioned that the crew has 8 men

=> 200x/300 = 8

=> x = (8 × 300) ÷ 200

=> x = 2400 ÷ 200

=> x = 12

Hence,
