A crib is to a baby as a nest is to a chick.

Baby birds are mostly referred to as chicks. The word chick is commonly used for any bird which is relatively young. Baby birds are known by different terms at different ages as hatchling, nestling and fledgling. A bird which is not more than a few days old is known as a hatchling. After that it becomes a nestling. At this stage it is completely dependent on its parents and does not leave the nest. When it is ready to leave the nest, has developed its flight feathers but is still learning to fly it is known as a fledgling.

The correct answer is - Squirrel.

Squirrels that live on trees usually build two types of nests. One is made of the leaves and the other is made in the tree cavities. They build leaf nests during the summers and they live in the cavity dens during the winters and rainy seasons as it is more safe with shelter and protection.

The squirrels weave together the leaves that have been gnawed off from the trees, along with moss, grass, pine needles, and other similar kinds of stuff.
