a) calculate the speed of the ball when it limits the ground
b) calculate the time taken to fall through this height

From the third equation of motion

v2 = u2 + 2gh

u=0

v2 = 2*20*10

v = 20 m/s

now from first equation of motion

v = u + at

20 = 0 + 20*t

time (t) = 1s
