a= 10m/s ²

u=0m/s

s=20m

v² -u² =2as

v² = 2×10×20 + 0²

v² = 400

v= 20m/s

Answer:

v² = u² + 2as

u = 0

v² = -2gs

v² = -2×10×20

= -400

v = -20 ms-¹

so the velocity is 20ms-¹ downwards

so speed is = 20 ms-¹
