according to the question , we should find the kinetic energy at the highest point 


we know that , K = 1/ 2 m v²


⇒ K '= 1 /2 m ( v cos 60° )


here i had taken cos 60 because the reference is taken from horizontal ( consideration )


therefore ,


K' = (1/2 m v²) ( 1/2 ) ²  { here cos 60° = 1/2 }


therefore ,


K' = K / 4
