a cricket ball mass moving 70g of Maas with a velocity of 0.5 m/s is stopped by a player in 0.5 seconds calculate force applied by player to stop the ball

given,
mass = 70 gram = 0.07 kg
initial velocity = 0.5 m/s
final velocity = 0 m/s
time taken = 0.5 sec
force = change in momentum / time taken
force = mv - mu / t
force = 0.07 * 0 - 0.07 * 0.5 / 0.5
force = - 0.035 / 0.5
force = - 0.07 N
therefore in magnitude force required is = 0.07N...
